urine/bandage cant type well with left hand plus in icu burn unit lots ofhoses and wires attached to me had to do OR the last picts are before transported t VCU Burn unit. i will have more when i can move. skin grafts and such.

Hear that man, take it easy. Get your meds, keep hydrated. keep on those nurses/doctors for your pain management. I remember all my stays the past few years, tv, morphine, eat, tv/pass out.. wash, rinse, repeat and toss a visit from the docs and physical therapist in there now and then. Morphine 2-4 hours, Percocet or vicodin every 4 hours..horrible stuff to be eating/getting pumped full of. but will get you through it all.. just gotta taper off of it or else it's bad. Probably pumping you full of I.V. antibiotics as well... Rest, Hydration, Pain management and whatever hoops they have you jump through. Tricky part is the hydration/rest/urinal with one hand thing... (one of my surgeries was on my right hand, but for far less severe problems.) couldn't use one of my hands, and laying in bed..and drinking fluids on top of all the crap they toss in the I.V.  ,... Have to either lean on your side, or prop the urinal.... Anyways.. Enough of that and my ranting. Get some rest and hopefully you heal up nicely. |

lucky for me i brought my laptop and smart phone or i would go insane watching the stupid shit they have on TV these days. they have doing a good job getting the insane pain under control. it's automatic plus i have a button i can push every ten minutes to get more. sucks being here on Christmas. And pissing in a thing in bed when i only have hand and it's got all kings wires and hoses attached to it.

Well, at last! So glad to hear you are getting some relief! Sucks to be in there for the holidays, but better than being in agony. Did they holler at ya? Lol, just keep pressing that button!
