Make a doctors appointment, you can make an emergency one just explain you don't like the hospital. Really you should be taking antibiotics to prevent an infection with a bad burn like that. Otherwise clean it with saline solution and use a slow release iodine dressing (I know this because I damaged my finger in a chemistry lesson and this is what they did with me).

Also keep flexing the hand, I held my finger really stiff because of the pain and the scar tissue healed really tight. I've just had a look at page four and I can tell you now that you're going to loose that skin, chemical burns are often worse than they first appear. Personally I would go to A&E at this stage, you may need a skin graft but it's up to you.

Well, the docs are going to have to treat that as it already looks infected. The burnt skin will be removed and he will have to have daily trips to a wound clinic.

Hey HH, the last picture you posted of your hand looks like shit  Monday you should seek professional help, debridement and some prescription anti-biotic cream at the least. The Docs may try to talk you into physical therapy you can prob skip on that if you keep the hand active. (Fapping doesn't count) |

UUU Weee that got you pretty good. Definitely keep an eye out on infection. I would slide into the doc myself just as a precaution...you can never be too safe...rather that than sorry. Bud does wonders for pain but jack -ish for infection! May your Christmas be as merry as it can....considering! |

Good deal man.. Glad you went.  I know too many people (Including myself) that had bad burns 2nd-4th degree.. Not something to mess around with. (tends to hurt like hell too..) Last pic in your hospital pics? Is that a urine sample and the old bandage? OR? Is it the fluid from the burn and dead skin they cut off? (I'm guessing urine/bandage...but? never know.  )At any rate.. Hope it heals up good and you get relief from that,. I [n]know[/n] that had to fucking hurt! Take care. |
