Great shots. Now I see why it's recommended that the men get snipped for fertility versus a hysterectomy. I am also VERY impressed (especially Viking) for not making a "Pocket Pussy" comment about the removed parts. |

Not as grisly as I thought it would be, not exactly family viewing either, I am so thankful I am male and don't have to go through this and least of all child birth, I can't help admiring the female threshold for enduring real pain.

There are a few types of hysterectomy, depending on what needs to be removed. My Mom had a radical hysterectomy, which meant they had to take everything out. In her case they had to go through the abdomen in order to reach the ovaries, etc. so she has a huge scar from hip bone to hip bone. I think when it's just the uterus and/or cervix though they just pull it on outta there. |
