I've had two of these repaired. once in 1990 when I was 10 yrs old..was left side. and had another one in my mid 20's that I left go until I was 29..(2009)Right side.Both were meshed.. Granted neither of mine were as bad as the older gentlemen's there(Or god just granted me more manhood..lol). The one I had repaired when I was 10 yrs old was A laproscopic surgery. Whereas the second surgery was more invasive. and the doctor used some kind of skin bond/glue to bond/suture me together..and yeh..caused some complications..occasional pain/numbness in the site where I was sutured. I'll leave this with A "happy" note, the one I had repaired when I was 29.. I used to joke about it..Call me E.T. ..the extra testicle!

Like the baby there I was born with one, so don't remember the pain. Left me with a funny looking belly button though
