He is in shock and has a amazing adrenaline boost at this time. I have rescued some girl that had the same sort of skin removing, when I told her that the medics are arrived soon and take her to the hospital she ask me: "Why they are taking me to the hospital? There is nothing wrong." For your information, her leg (or what was left from it) is be amputated on the crash site by a HEMS doctor. |

Re: Head Skin Flap Dangling After Traffic Accident
Correct, it was better to wait for the HEMS doctor and amputate her leg, then rescue her out very fast with the very possibility that blood prop was shooting loose and kills her. This can happen when a leg or arm is stuck for long time and is cutting loose, then the blood prop (Dont know the right name) is shooting from the arm/leg to the brain. If she did died on site then we had towed the car to the fire station to take the time we need to do it with high care so the morgue crew could fix the most for the eye. |

Re: Head Skin Flap Dangling After Traffic Accident
Its amazing what the human body can take. My best friend was in this situation, ejected from his truck. He has a scar from his hair line on his forehead to his neck where his scalp was hanging off. Broke his verterbrae in his neck and he remembers everything and is normal besides neck pain. That motherfucker cant die. |
