I saw something similar to this years ago. A guy in our soccer team caught his wedding ring on a hook that kept the goal net in place on the frame of the goal. It just pulled his whole finger right off. Pretty gross but hey - we won the game  |

U can see the gold ring in the first pic. My guess is he got it caught on something and it just ripped off the skin or degloved his finger

That does look like the soccer player that recently did de-glove his ring finger on his left hand. The hand looks like it was the same way that his was pulled off.
