Guy That Stabbed His GF to Death Jumps from Roof of Queens Apartment Building
A blood-covered man leapt from the roof of a Queens apartment building Wednesday after apparently stabbing a woman to death inside his apartment, law enforcement sources said. The horrific incident unfolded just before noon on Sept. 30, when a 911 caller reported seeing a 32-year-old man standing on the roof of 10-40 Neilson St. in Far Rockaway. Officers from the 101st Precinct rushed to the scene and found the man soaked in blood. Police attempted to talk the man to safely come down from the roof, but moments later, sources said, the emotionally disturbed man hurled himself from the seven-story building. Clinging to life, the man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he remained in critical condition. Meanwhile, investigators enlisted the building superintendent to gain access to the man’s second-floor apartment, where police found 31-year-old Pheona Premraji, who lived at the residence, unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to her body. EMS pronounced her dead at the scene. The 32-year-old man remains in police custody, though no charges had been filed as of Thursday morning. The investigation remains ongoing. Pheona Premraji was a 31-year-old woman who worked constantly, supported her boyfriend, and still made time to visit her dad every single week. Her uncle says the abuse went on for years, she'd leave, stay with family, then go back. Neighbors heard them fighting for over a year. Cops had been called before. But on a Wednesday afternoon in Far Rockaway, Queens, something snapped. Her boyfriend allegedly stabbed her in the face, neck, chest, and stomach inside their second-floor apartment. |
