Guinea Pig's Broken Leg
This guinea pig broke her leg after getting stuck in her cage at least and was brought in by a concerned extended family member one week later. She had a horrible compound fracture of her tibia - the bone was sticking out and the distal foot was rotting away. The owners had no money to take care of her so "donated" her to the vet. She is fine. Had a complete amputation and from what I gathered, recovered well and was rehomed to a loving, more responsible, family  |
