Re: Giving Birth by Cesarean Section

Amazing! But I'm glad I didn't see this before they cut me open & pulled my son out!

And here I am, always feeling like babies are made of thin glass. And this guy digs in with a metal tool to position and pull the baby by its head.

Eh, he knows more about it than me.

Re: Giving Birth by Cesarean Section

Every single C-section I've seen.. they cut this little hole and tear it open.. like..
Ok baby.. you're going to come out a different hole, but we'll make it feel natural to you, You'll be fine!
Would think they'd cut accordingly to size of baby as to make healing easier for mom.

Side note.. this is how I and my 3 younger siblings entered the world..
(Also to note.. when they deliver c-section, the doctors are brutal with forceps etc. on baby..)

Re: Giving Birth by Cesarean Section

Horrible way to deliver for all concerned. I'm very grateful I never needed one. I have a friend whose scar is still numb and badly healed years on.

Doctors and Hospitals make more money...

So, of course, there are going to be more cesarean operations performed

They also have a definite window of work time. In and out on time - no waiting around like you do with a natural birth.
