All body modifications end well when it starts with - "And... um? Fuck it!" It's only an ear, not like it's part of your body or anything..    Prior to viewing the video, I was expecting someone trying to cram a huge plug about same size into an ear fistula and I was expecting to bitch at the person asking why they didn't use a taper?!? Lo and behold, she used a taper! (Just not properly  )In a way though? She's kind of lucky that went the way it did.. Why? People that try to stretch their lobes like this (extreme) that do so "Successfully" (without ripping it  ) tend to end up with gangrene and other nasty complications due to lack of blood flow to the bottom part of the ear lobe. Leaving the ear to just rot away/off right around the body jewelry. (See how her earlobe swells up on the bottom prior to the explosion? had it not popped? that would have lost blood flow..  )

Examples above said issues that can arise from improperly stretching your earlobes. (Besides just tearing your lobe to shit.) Gangrene or necrosis due to lack of blood flow through small area of skin/impingement.  More extreme stretch, similar to above but "cleaned up" a bit. (obvious infection)  Then there's keloids/scarring and blow-out which all pales in comparison to the above. |

@ 0:59 "Slow and steady wins the race, right?" MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN YOUR OWN ADVICE! Also if youre calling them "Gauges" you're already doing it wrong, "gauges" is the plural for "gauge", which is a unit of measurement, like Foot, Yard, inches etc. They're just called stretched piercings, and then the jewellery is things like Taper, tunnel, plug, just like how you have studs, hanging earrings n stuff |
