Re: Girl Cutting Herself
I don't know much about 'cutting', but I sure do about depression and suffering. What I don't get is the filming of it- seems that turns it into some sort of attention-seeking, drama ploy, in my opinion. |

Re: Girl Cutting Herself
It's ... across the street to the hospital, down the road to the graveyard. Not relevant here though, as this sort cutting is not a suicide attempt. |

Re: Girl Cutting Herself
Actually, many many years ago (back in the 90's), I myself was a cutter. I had no idea other people did it or that it was "a thing". It was my way of coping after the loss of someone very close to me. It took the focus of the deep anguish and crushing emotional pain I was experiencing, and focused it on a pain that I was able to control. I will never cut again, but I still much prefer the pain of a self-inflicted wound, to the vise grip on your chest and stabbing pain in your heart, that grief brings. Also, years later I found out my sister was secretly doing the same thing, as was a best friend of mine. So no, this isn't always an act for attention, it's a coping mechanism. |

Re: Girl Cutting Herself
I used to cut, quite a lot. It started out with scratches like hers and then turned deeper and deeper. I have a lot of really ugly scars that I should've gotten stitches for but I never showed my wounds to anyone. This was a long time ago and now I have no problem wearing short sleeved shirts or tiny shorts, you can point and look if you want to, I don't really care ㄟ(`^´)ㄏ |

Re: Girl Cutting Herself
You are all so ignorant. Yes its true shes an attention whore for video taping, but people don't cut to kill themselves they do it for the physical pain that causes endorphins to release which takes away mental pain. The more you know |
