I wonder if body modification can get out of control and is a form of body dymorphia in similar vein to how dieting can turn into an eating disorder or a nose job can lead to ridiculous plastic surgery.You start with lots of piercing and tatts,even get a Prince Albert,but nothing is ever 'hardcore' enough for you so you do this.
