Re: Forced Busing-gone-wrong Costs a Leg or So.
Sadly, I believe both her ankles have been dislocated. It’s possible that with bad or no medical care she could lose both feet if there was arterial damage. Probably never be the same.

Hey, she's lucky; she walked away with her life here at least. Okay, well, she didn't actually walk away with her life here, but you catch my drift. yeah, with the level of medical care in these shitholes it's doubtful she'll ever walk again on her own two feet, but she might be able to walk again on those nice shiny stainless steel artifcial feet you see |

~ Another fine & dandy filled day, with no worries about any traffic consequences, & then BAM!, another expected yet unexpected large vehicle has to ruin it. ~ This could have easily been a common scenario in India, South Asia, Brazil, etc....,You know the routine. |

Re: Forced Busing-gone-wrong Costs a Leg or So.
That left ankle looks just like mine did about 12 years ago and if it's a bona fide tib-fib I wouldn't wish that shit on my worst enemy. Which is a lie, because my worst enemy has been pushing up daisies for 11 years now (which just goes to show how much God likes me, because how often does someone's worst enemy die young by his own hand?) But you know how the saying goes, it just means it pretty much sucks, and it doesn't look like her right leg is in much better shape, so hopefully I am just seeing things and that it's still working well enough for her to use crutches.
