What's interesting is that the fly eggs are not injected into the human by the fly. Rather, the fly catches a mosquito mid-air and pastes its eggs onto the mosquito. When the mosquito takes its next blood meal from the human, the fly eggs are deposited into the subcutaneous tissue. There they grow to become larvae. Quite interesting, indeed!
