I saw a special on these on TLC, Discovery, etc. (one of those channels). SO the doc does this operation and sends him home with drugs to fight his body rejecting it, and he ends up stopping the drug use. Don't know what happened in the end but he lives in a very remote part of the Country with no docs around, and his body was starting to reject the transplant.
