Female circumcision is done in some Islamic countries to prevent sex before marriage. The idea is that if a girl will no longer feel pleasure from sex, then she will stay a virgin until marriage. This is not done in all Islamic countries. In fact, it is very barbaric and crude. Also, the lack of sterilization is extremely barbaric and in most Islamic nations (that are not borderline third world) male circumcision (which is done for cleanliness) is sterilized and completely safe. |

Neither boys nor girls should be forced to get circumcised. It should be a choice... But forcing a child going through such severe pain and humiliation, I mean come on, thats just cruel.

That's just stupid IMO. One has nothing to do with the other. Guys get circumcised for religious and health reason/ease of cleaning. Their justification of female circumcision is to prevent cheating. They think that if a woman doesn't enjoy sex, then she won't bother trying to cheat. |
