Re: A Fatal Outcome of Pica
My 37 yr old son, who is severely autistic, has pica. He will eat just about anything if he can get ahold of it. He lives in a residential facility for severely developmentally delayed individuals. Over the years he has had to have 2 surgeries for intestinal blockage. The 2nd surgery required part of his stomach be removed as it had been damaged by the 'non edibles' in there. He doesn't know any better when he eats something he shouldn't. I don't understand when a 'normal' person eats in edibles - especially things like glass, nails, razor blades, etc. crazy!

Re: A Fatal Outcome of Pica
Skull looks odd to me, maybe just an ethnic thing or the angle it was shot at. Lower jaw seems odd too. Yeah that doesn't make sense to me either, nor does leaving his pants on and opening the fly. |
