You only have on pair of eyes, and there's no way, after 11 piercings myself, would I ever risk fucking mine up - especially with something that would feel like a permanent piece of sand in the eye. And again... what if they need an emergency MRI... "sorry, I can't, I have this uber cool eye piercing". WTF?

This isn't exactly a "piercing." It's a flat piece of jewelry placed beneath the tissue (sclera) that surrounds the eyeball. You can buy the same type of jewelry for your teeth, which are adhered using the same method as braces.
