Re: Extreme Anorexia Collection
took care of a young girl (mid 20s) in the hospital a few years ago with this problem. it was incredibly sad, she just couldn’t see (or at least never admitted it) that she was sick and killing herself. eventually developed heart failure and died. her husband was the opposite, a body builder who was obsessed with how big his muscles were.

Re: Extreme Anorexia Collection
It was so sad, he passed away a while ago. I remember him being really distressed just before he passed that a magazine here in the UK took on his story, publicized it, and never actually paid him - they just kept shirking him off. Was hoping one day he'd pull through it all and recover, but with what he was sharing with his blogs & Facebook I don't know what it would have taken for it to pan out. Always makes me wonder how others in the pictures have gotten on, hoping they made it through, but the sad reality when you get so low it can be nigh on impossible to come through the other side. |
