Not the worst I've seen or worked on (as a veterinarian). I had a toy Poodle where, on presentation, had the entire R and L upper dental arcades, from canines right back to molars, covered in a single large plaque "slab". After induction, extractions were simply a case of taking a hold of each slab and gently pulling. Patient had multiple oronasal fistulae that required gingival flaps to seal shut, though some couldn't be closed completely due to the severe gum recession and deterioration of the alveolar bone.

damn, that sucks for him...there are treats called greenies that will help this. my dog had a bit of this growing on her teeth, but the greenies cleaned it right up
