Re: Dilatation & Curettage Abortion
Maybe the woman doesnt want to be reminded of what happened to her, by all means having the child put up for adoption would be a nice thing to do for people who can't have children but u can't judge someone for their actions everyone has free will. If youve never eade a mistake in ur life or done something u shouldnt have then u can judge i guess but im not starting an arguement. Im just stating you never know why people make these choices an no one should be made to feel bad for doing what they feel to be right for them at the time.

Re: Dilatation & Curettage Abortion
Oh I'm sorry, I seem to have forgotten that spilling milk on my textbook and murdering an unborn child are basically the same thing. Thank you for setting me straight. If some one feels that it's "right" for them to have their unborn child pulled from their body, piece by fucking piece, I suspect they had whatever happened, coming to them. "Their body, Their choice." My ass! It is NOT their body, it is the child's. Who the fuck are they to decide that that child should die, simply because some one raped them? Does that child not deserve a chance at life, because it was conceived through a terrible crime? Pro-choice my fucking ass |

Re: Dilatation & Curettage Abortion
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I wouldn't keep a rapists baby and not many women would. Some women go and get the morning after pill but it doesn't always work and i know of instances where it hasn't in such cases. There are also of course the girls that get abused and raped by family members who are either stopped from going to the doctor or too scared too. Then it's too late to get the morning after pill and abortion is her only option if she in no way wants to give birth to the child. Giving birth is not an easy thing to do, so saying "have the baby and give it up for adoption" is not as easy as it sounds. There are so are many different reasons why women choose the abortion route. It's easy to make assumptions and cast your opinion if you haven't been in the situation yourself or close to someone who has been in that situation. That's why i will always remain pro-choice. Not every woman who has an abortion is a dirty slut that couldn't be bothered to use protection. People who think that are very naive. I do think that terminations should only be allowed up to 10 weeks unless the baby has some deformity etc. |

Re: Dilatation & Curettage Abortion
I can understand you point of view Just i always look at it from both sides and i base my opinion on each situation. I know of someone who was raped at 16 and the morning after pill failed so she chose to have an abortion (early) and i can understand her decision based on what i know of the entire situation. And i also know a woman who's had four abortions |
