Re: Dilatation & Curettage Abortion
that's a foetus, incapable of sustaining life outside the uterus. sometimes women have to do what they have to do. They also do this with spontaneous abortion (Miscarriage) which could be what this procedure is. for most, terminating a pregnancy is the hardest decision someone would have to make, why show images like this to a woman prior and make her decision harder than it already is? |

Re: Dilatation & Curettage Abortion
Most of these type of late term abortion are done on fetuses that died in the womb, or are so deformed they will die when they are born. Let's stop pretending that it is common for a woman to abort a completely healthy pregnancy at this stage. It's a myth. That being said, removing a rapist from my body can be brutal too. This fact has no bearing on my right to remove him/her, now does it? Grossness should have nothing to do with it. |

Re: Dilatation & Curettage Abortion
Most abortions (95% of them) don't look like this - just saying. 95% occur before it is this late term - prior to 20 weeks.
