Re: Diagnosis Skin Thing
I had something similar only more red and irritated at times. It was on my scalp, front right area. I also didn't have ins. I tried drenching it in olive oil, grape seed oil, coconut oil, neosporine, hydrogen peroxide, tea tree oil, natural aloe vera. Nothing really worked, it would calm down at times. I began to drink coconut juice about 1 month ago and its almost gone. I don't know if that did it or if its going away by itself. But coconut juice is the only thing I've done differently in the last 8 months I've had this. Good luck. |

Re: Diagnosis Skin Thing
Thanks Windex, but if I drank coconut, I'd need more than a doctor. I would need my own thread in the death section. Lol The lady I live with now gave me some of spray and it's been working. It burns like hell though. It's eczema I guess. @corrico: My dog chews on her foot when she's stressed. She has separation anxiety and I'd been leaving her home a lot due to other issues. She's stopped it now that she has a new dog-buddy to chew on. I may have to steal my roommate's dog when I move because they get along so well. @sarah, I also have a yummy infection under both my breasts due to their size (42G now). I do tend to get a lot of acne and I also get ingrown hairs because of my genetically big thighs (got to love the Hoyt thighs). Other than that, it's mostly just dry skin. |

Re: Diagnosis Skin Thing
If you still have this lesion, please, consider this. My husband is a Provider, although not a dermatologist, his practice is Internal Medicine, and I am in the ER. He feels you may require a skin scraping. Your local ER can provide healthcare despite lack of insurance or ability or inablility to pay, as well as referrals to clinics in your area that operate on a sliding scale, eliminating your need to do without excellent care. Hope this helps..
