i have considered them, but it doesnt make sense, just like the bible. the explanation that people just willingly accept to me, is as sheepish as being in line with god or you go to hell.

but they know of no cell in the universe that withstands even 500 degrees. i look at it like this. when the sun expands, and heats up the earth, it will be molten. lets say for theory sake, it returned to normal. would it be fair to say that there would be no cells left, to regenerate earth? i believe so, because looks at extreme forest fires, they need to be replanted, or else, they only grow back with the excess from its surroundings. if those surroundings dont exist to replenish it, where do they come from? i believe the earth would be like mars for eternity.

I am not going to weigh in on the big bang or anything - staying out of that fray :)

However, I do wish that Hospice were allocated funds to go in and help terminally ill patients like this. This man was obviously suffering long before the video began and a large dose of morphine would most certainly be warranted.

I know there are several sides to the assisted suicide controversy. I happen to be a proponent of it, but to each his own. My father currently has lung cancer and if he were not doing well with treatment, you can bet your last dollar that I would have the conversation with him about an advanced directive and how he wanted to live his last days. I do not want to see anyone suffering - they shouldn't have to. We have the means to stop their pain, with dignity and caring - we should give them that, at least. Just my opinion. I know it doesn't matter in the greater scheme of things, but that's it :)
