DEAD TIT SOCIETY - Hunny's Pictorial Breast Cancer Journey *WARNING: GRAPHIC*
5/25/2026 Hello and welcome to my thread! If you’ve found this page, you’re probably either a seasoned denizen of Documenting Reality or a listener of my podcast, Dead Tit Society. Either way, thank you for visiting! I’m Hunny, and my boyfriend Mike has actually been roaming these parts playing the character Dr. Anal B. Dough Esq. III since 2010. For my podcast listeners who might not be used to the raw, graphic nature of Documenting Reality, let me explain why we are posting here. Mike and I are fierce advocates for both breast cancer awareness and absolute free speech. This platform allows me to share the completely unfiltered, unvarnished truth of my journey without censorship. Before we get to the pictures, here is the quick backstory: I’m 63, and despite getting yearly mammograms since my 30s, November 2025 brought my very first callback. After a repeat mammogram, an ultrasound, and a biopsy, I was officially diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer on December 8th. Given my strong family history, I always expected this day would come. I took a month to weigh my options, spoke with my surgeon, and confidently chose a double mastectomy. I had the surgery on January 22nd, 2026, opting for an aesthetic flat closure ("AFC"). Initially, my surgeon did a beautiful job, placing a vacuum pump and drains. But within seven days, a severe infection set in. My incisions turned necrotic, requiring heavy antibiotics and an emergency revision to cut out the dead tissue. Even with a plastic surgeon stepping in, the aesthetic damage from the back-to-back surgeries was rough. To add insult to injury, after that second surgery, I experienced a sudden sensorineural event and permanently lost the hearing in my left ear. I’ll be getting a cochlear implant for that on 6/26/26! I had another mastectomy revision recently on 5/11/26. The surgery itself went well, but the healing outcome still isn't great, so I’m gearing up for yet another pre-op and procedure. I want to give a massive special thanks to the site owner, chris Wilson, and to supporting member Lyndsay, whose courage in sharing her own breast cancer journey here long before I did truly paved the way. I'd love to say "enjoy" the pictures... and knowing this crowd, some of you just might! LOL. But at the very least, I hope you find my journey interesting. https://www.youtube.com/@DeadTitSociety Please let me know your thoughts below! |

Brave indeed. Was wondering about your family history of breast cancer. Did they do a gene mutation test? Last 3 are hormone receptor positive and to prevent the other breast developing cancer they usally give anastrozol, letrozol, or exemestane as hormone therapy instead of taking away the healthy breast. The brca-1 mutation is the worst and usally women between 40 and 50 can get that and as you stated you got it at 63 so it might be one of the other mutations? or you were "lucky" to get it at an older age. Very brave to get both removed as most women would prefer one. The hearing loss is because of the agressive antibiotics as they are well-known for that esp. high-dose intravenous medication like gentamicin, tobramycin, amikacin or vancomycin. they can destroy the inner ear hair cells. At least you're still alive and share your experience with others I know a guy that has the brca-1 mutation and he developed prostate cancer at the age of 44. PSA level of over 10,000 ng/mL |

Re: DEAD TIT SOCIETY - Hunny's Pictorial Breast Cancer Journey *WARNING: GRAPHIC*
I am fourth generation breast cancer on my maternal side. Grandma, Grandma, Mom and now me. Also prostate, pancreatic and colon. My parents and siblings have all passed from one of these cancers. I tested negative for ALL genetic mutations..I was told that just means they don't have my particular mutation on the list yet. Recommended treatment included lumpectomy with radiation and possible chemo followed by hormone blocker therapy for 5-10 years. Or unilateral mastectomy with hormone blockers. Bilateral mastectomy is not a recommendation, but if course a patients option to choose. With my family history and not wanting radiation or chemo plus other personal non medical reasons including just wanting what was trying to kill me out. That gave me peace. My felt good about my decision after hearing my decision making process. I didn't really have aggressive antibiotics, I did have a oral for a few days before surgery as well as introvenous during. The thought is, the hearing damage is from a combination of a certain muscle relaxant (Methocarbamol) and a scopa patch with my anesthesia. At any rate, whatever causes it, it's here and not going anywhere. Lol no can't wait to get my implant! This is exhausting. At least you're still alive and share your experience with others I am so glad your friend is doing well!! I hope he continues to do so. Thank you for your questions! Hope I answered them all. |

Very understandable. Standard genetic tests only read exons (protein part makers), that's only 2% of the total genome. The other 98% is genetic dark matter. For eons they thought they were useless but a mutation in those keeps switching those brca genes off or on at the wrong times. That's why probably test misses them as they don't "see" the switch. There's big progress in that field of epigenitics though https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41905786/ |

Thanks for sharing your journey and still manage to keep a smile on. It’s not the person’s outer body or appearance that makes the person. It’s the spirit inside that really counts. Not how a person looks. We are all just human beings living out our lives the best way we can… *Most of us anyway. Keep on keeping on!! |
