but WHYY would you want him to survive? would be selfish on your part, but then again.. you'd be hurting yourself financially as well. doubt the kid would develop a conscience or personality you could interact with on a normal human being -man to child, mother to son, father to child, etc. level.. If he did, however, develop such a conscience... he would hate you for letting him live a life like that. |

While I do agree with you in this case, it wasn't so long ago that people felt the same about babies born with Down Syndrome or other developmental disabilities. People who may not be able to connect "normally," but do, nonetheless, absolutely connect. And for the most part, are quite happy to be alive.
