A Chinese woman has amazingly survived without serious injury after stabbing herself in the head with a knife.
These gruesome images show the knife protruding out of Zhang Lan’s skull after she launched the five inch blade in to her own head.



Lan, who suffers from mental illness, is believed to have stabbed the sharp knife into her own head when family members were not keeping an eye on her.

She was rushed to hospital in her native China but was turned away by two doctors who are said to have been too afraid to treat her.



Miraculous: Zhang was discharged from hospital just five days after she was admitted with no ill effects whatsoever
They had concerns that they would be unable to remove the knife without causing greater damage to the woman.She then had to be rushed to the next nearest hospital, more than 100 miles away
She was finally admitted to Lanzhou Army General Hospital three hours after the incident, where this shocking x-ray was taken by staff.

I don't know.... You give your mentally challenge charge a knife to play with whilst your busy and able to look after her and WHAM look what she does… it gets to the point you can't trust their mental illness to make rational decisions!

Mind you if you look at the angle of the knife and think of the force required to get it so far in, I say she was stabbed by someone standing behind her whilst she was sitting down…
