Re: Child Hydroencephalitis

This poor kids head is even bigger.

Dilla Anargia Adilla, 3, of Bogor, Indonesia was born with the ailment, caused by the abnormal build-up of cerebrospinal fluid in certain parts of the brain.
Hydrocephalus, also known as “water on the brain,” causes pressure to build up inside the skull, resulting in blurred vision, mental and physical disability.
Sadly, Dilla’s family says that they cannot afford surgery for their daughter, whose condition has advanced.

Re: Child Hydroencephalitis

I saw a child in Nicaragua with the same problem and a HUGE head...if I can find the pics I will post them but they didn't come out very well. They are from 1989, all would have been prevented with a shunt very sad.
