She reached up to contact the live wire, and it appears that the current would have crossed her heart (and hope to die) to find a path to ground. Flash, noise and smoke indicates to me high voltage and high current. There's a saying in the electronics industry: "It's the mils that kills". Mils being milliamperes, but in in this case it was a whole lotta amperes, so I think that she was already dead before she hit the ground. The arm movement before she falls, I think, was an involuntary muscle twitch. |
