My dog bit me once, but now she made a lot of progress and gotten a lot better. :) She never bit me since, or anyone else.

Pit bulls for some reason do not like when you get in their face, it triggers a standoff, fight or flight emotional response. I did the same thing to my pity girl one night, was on the floor chasing her, she likes that, but then I blocked her from running past me, got in her face and kinda barked and growled,she perceived it as a threat and snapped at me, my bottom lip got split in half! Pit bulls are very different from any breed, you can’t dominate them like other dogs, you have to be dominant at all times and turn from them when they want to challenge, such as tug o war or take a ball from them. You can’t push them to do something they don’t want to do, never hit them( never hit any animal, but a pitbull will fuck you up if you do) they are very possessive of things you give them and of you, they will warn you if they don’t like something youre doing,ie trimming nails, mine shows her teeth, I have to stop and take to the vet now, bath, fucking forget that, she has to go to the vet, or husband has to do it. They will never just attack for no good reason, you have to push them past their warning signs, eyes widened, ears flush back, shaking, or showing teeth, if they are doing this, walk the fuck away! They are the biggest scaredy-cats, and scared dogs will bite. So, eliminate things that scare them, or show them, without pushing 5hem, that it’s ok and won’t hurt them, ie vacume, dryer buzzer, blender, etc. You just have to baby them, bc they are the biggest babies. Ps. I had a few two many Xanax when I got in her face, and I noticed they don’t like when you are fucked up, this scares them.
