In March 2009, gasoline poured onto a campfire in Harriman, New York, flared and severely burned two Monroe-Woodbury High School students. A 15-year-old freshman suffered burns over 65% of her body and was initially reported in critical condition. She later underwent numerous surgeries and skin grafts.

The person who poured the gasoline was not named. A fundraiser was held that August at an American Legion post in Monroe.

Well hopefully that will be a lesson for some other young peeps. My cousin was at a bonfire and someone threw an aerosol can on it and it exploded and my cousin was severely burned (mostly upper torso) but went through hell and a ton of skin grafts.

Like I said, hopefully some young people will see this and learn from it. Glad she is recovering nicely.
