Brazil - Butcher Lost Hand To Grinder
A butcher whose name was not disclosed lost his right hand in a work accident last Sunday night (15). According to information, the young man worked in a supermarket located in the Petrópolis neighborhood, South Zone of Manaus, when his hand was sucked into a meat grinder. Upon hearing the victim's screams, colleagues quickly turned off the machine. The supermarket called the Fire Department to provide first aid and took him to the hospital. A video was released in chat groups showing the moment firefighters remove the meat grinder. The victim's hand is crushed. After removing the equipment, the young man underwent surgery. His hand was amputated. So far there is no information about the worker's health status.

Occupational health and safety is for those wussies in the Global North! Also notice how most of these mishaps and deaths happen in Manaus.  It's like Brazil's armpit. Or something.
