I firmly agree these aren't botflys. This is a maggot infestation.Probably from the Cochliomyia Homnivorax species, or better known as Screwfly maggots. Botfly's are not usually found in large numbers and though I have seen them being found in the eyes.. they usually are found on the back, arms, legs , head(scalp) etc..in numbers ranging from 1-5

Have you seen such botfly cases in your practice, here, in Mtl? I thought it mostly was something travelers come back with...
