Hi kellyhound, Thanks for the help I really do appreciate it. I’ll have a look for that tomorrow on the way to work. Just a quickie if you don’t mind, cover or not to cover, that is the question? I’ve been looking around online and some say cover others say don’t. I don’t wanna waste Drs time by going to GP or A+E.  Many Thanks. |

cover as after that blister is popped your stratum corneum is missing which protects us against bacteria/infections. that's why they advice not to pop blisters.

I did the same a few years back. Caught the deep fryer pan as it fell off the cooker. Stupid really but was instant reaction as my daughter was stood behind me and would have splashed her. Slept for 2 nights with hand in a bucket of cold water next to bed, kept it wrapped for 2 weeks and I have no scarring at all. Hope yours heals well |

Work place doesn't cover it? Anything that happens at work is a work accident in my country and wouldn't cost me a dime. Some years back I poured a bucket of scalding water on my foot and had daily visits to a private hospital for about a month.  Got paid too.

Thanks for the best wishes Sara I’m glad you didn’t get scarred. Rheedork, it was completely my fault. I could try a claim but as I get free healthcare anyway and it was my fault I don’t think it’s worth it. |
