Re: Boil Removed from My Neck
Glad its all better now. Sorry about the diabetes. Its not the end of the world though. I am type 1 (insulin dependent) for about 9 years now. Its a bitch but I don't even think about it now. The thing about type 2 tho is you have a chance to get rid of it thru diet and excercise. Oh and no metformin does not get you horny...its that your sugars are in better control now. That makes a huge difference in everything. Also, fyi your A1c should be below 7 if you can do it and your glucose readings should be between 70 and 120 or so. 2 hours after meal should be around 170.....if you want feel free to ask me any questions about it.

Re: Boil Removed from My Neck
Nice to reminisce! I hope all is well! The metformin can help with weight loss. I'm down about 40-45 pounds. The avatar is a few years old. You get used to it. I don't want to lose my site or feet! |

Re: Boil Removed from My Neck
I worry about that as well I have a buddy that has already lost three toes, and is now legally blind. I stopped taking the pills about a year ago, and seem to be doing ok. No more sores which is a good thing I guess. |

Robert88, Diamondsmiles, and Plant05: As long as you keep your sugar levels at the optimum levels, you should be okay. I know this from the type I diabetes which affects most of my family. I'm lucky, I only have thyroid disease. Do the best you can do, be the best you can be! |

Re: Boil Removed from My Neck
Thanks, Alley! I had my eyes checked last week and was shocked they improved! Still have to get new glasses though. I hate choosing new ones. I couldn't make myself bleed with those stupid lancets, then I'd notice I had a cut or whatever later without trying and no clue how I did it. I got it now though. I need to get my blood tested for the levels and to see if I have Celiac Disease. You stay healthy, too, Alley! (((hugs))) |
