I don't have any lumps, but, I was diagnosed type II and anemic the middle of August. I'm on Metformin, no white food. The Metformin I heard yesterday helps you lose weight. My sugar was 200 and my doctor said it should be 50 or 60. I think it's from not eating anything I like. Loved pasta, garlic bread, pizza - all gone now. I might slip in a pizza and pasta once in awhile. You can't stop cold turkey. What sucks is I gave up diet beverages because of the aspartame and now I need them between meals! Sucks royally! I wish you the best with your diet and medical care. Get your eyes checked regularly, too, along with taking care of your feet. |

I am on Metformin as well. I've heard it also increases your libido. And I guess its true, because I am in the mood ALL the time...  |
