Someone explain this to me........these never shrink, or go back to even semi-normal size, right? So if you end up working in the real world (i.e., not for body mod or tattoo shops) your only option is surgery to close the hole?

Well yeah, most people say 6mm is the point of no return. but yes if we wanted our lobes reconstructed we would need surgery...but at some sizes lobes are easily hidden for work and stuff...till work get more open minded..

Depends on the person. Some has had huge holes close up completly, som e can't even get a gauge 6 to close up.. Surgery is an option, but I'd say that either you live a modded life or you don't - you either take the hardships that comes with the stretched lobes, or you don't get them stretched. Parts of society don't accept this, and if you want to be in those parts of society, stay away from body mods. Simple as that. You win some, you lose some. |
