Re: Battling My Acne Part 3
You should try a light therapy called Omnilux. It utilizes narrow spectrum blue light that is applied to your skin for 20 minutes, and there is no pain, discomfort, or recovery time with this device. The light treatment targets and reduces the cell responsible for the production of excess "sebum" -- the oil in the skin that is the primary cause of acne, so it effectively treats the source of the issue. I have personally seen it work miracles, and change many lives. I use one in my business and there are many around the country. Use Google and find one near you.

Re: Battling My Acne Part 3
Leave the acne alone it's not that bad, and leave those eyebrows alone! I'm not saying you should look like Borat but growing your brows a bit thicker an fuller would look so much nicer and it would accentuate your indeed beautiful eyes and would distract people away from your acne i think. I mean there's nothing more beatiful than a women with beautiful eyes and a set of eyebrows which complements them, i could look at that for hours and hours.

Re: Battling My Acne Part 3
First a big "THANK YOU" to everyone who replied with positive and helpful comments and a big "FUCK OFF" to those who decided to show what twats they are by having a go at me. I know, everyone tells me to leave the eyebrows as they are but it's just a compulsion... As for Accutane, I can't take it as it can have some horrible mental health related side-effects that would affect me as I am already on a lot of meds for psychiatric illness. I asked my psychiatrist and the dermatologist I saw about taking it and neither would give me the prescription as they said it was too risky. I can't possibly afford light-treatments and I've been advised not to have micro-dermabrasion since the Retin-A I take makes the skin resurface itself constantly and that treatment might take off too many skin layers and scar. As for the whole make-up thing, I've got some anti-redness concealer now and a lighter foundation so will hopefully look less corpse-like! Now I have my cleanser back I'm hoping that my skin will calm down a bit. My spots are actually going away now with few new ones showing up which is great. Also good to know that others here have been through the same stuff as me and are surviving. That makes me feel a lot better. Thanks to most of you! |

Re: Battling My Acne Part 3
i think bouncy fancies you really, but he's just trying to hide it by being nasty, actually, he could be a ***, looks like he spends more time looking in the mirror than anything else, he was probably one of the uncool kids at school who had severe acne, braces, glasses, small dick, so he decided enoughs enough and start taking steroids and going on sunbeds and then taking pictures of himself in the mirror and coming onto websites to belittle people to make himself feel better about his shit life |
