Re: Battling My Acne Part 3

So when did you become a geneticist? And have you ever thought of going back to grade school to pick up a little bit of grammar?

You might think I'm "fugly" and "pizza-faced" but I "get on with things" quite well. I have a degree in Applied Theology, am a trained psychiatric nurse, speak several languages and have been with my boyfriend for 6 years. So how do you "get on with things" daily, since you're such an illiterate twat?
PAHA so if you know you're ugly why worry about a few spots? it's because you think there is a pretty girl under there and that's sometimes the case but with you sadly not, you're just ugly.

Re: Battling My Acne Part 3

I was hot as a young woman and never had problems with acne until my early thirties. I got adult onset acne (boils) basically on my face. I had thick, oily skin and I just knew when it was gonna get nasty. I finally went on Accutane. It was kind of rough for the mood swings because you have to take the pill also. However, it worked beautifully on my skin. It was so soft and nice after that I couldn't believe it. It wasn't thick any more and not much in the way of oil. The acne has never come back but just an occasional something minor. I don't know if they prescribe it anymore but it was sure worth it for me!

Re: Battling My Acne Part 3

Say btw, you just spurred me to find this stuff. I'd looked before and the dermi I go to didn't think you could get the stuff any more. But I'm sure this is it under a different brand. It used to be by Essential Care but now it's Glytone. Good stuff. Covers it up. Drys it up. Blob it on at night and usually ready to pop in the a.m. (Be careful to let it dry before you come into contact with fabrics because it does bleach. Even wash well before wiping your face on a nice towel!) It works good for men, women, teens. It's the best. I think I'll order and replace my 20 yo bottle!

Re: Battling My Acne Part 3

Apart from the spots, your skin has a nice glow, which gets ruined by the make-up. I would stick with other remedies.

Re: Battling My Acne Part 3

you have alot of redness. I would try a green concealrer over those red spots before you aply makeup. Green cancels out redness. So you wont have to apply layers upton layers of makeup. Remeber to also try something full coverage, better covering formula = less makeup. you look great!

Re: Battling My Acne Part 3

also, I had cystic acne for most of my adolescent life which left me with alot of scarring. I had to wait 2 years after I had finished ANY retin regimin because of the potential of discoloration when using a chemichal peel or micro dermabrasion. Acne.org. Look it up on you tube. It cleared my cystic acne within about 7 full days. Unlike proactive, your face will not flare up into a beast if you stop using it. :)

Not really..stress, make up products, sweating from working out can all be causes of acne. As well as certain prescription drugs. Nice to see your muscles are bigger than your brain
