Re: Bad Hair Dye Reaction

Poor women Should print these on hair dye boxes as an insistance to make people do a damn patch test!!
Every hair color box I've ever seen does recommend a patch test.

'I now have to dye my hair with a semi-permanent dye I order from a health food shop'
WTF she still didn't learn her lesson?! I would stay away from that shit for life.

Re: Bad Hair Dye Reaction

As a cosmetologist most of these look like they r burns from leaving frosting on ur hair for WAY too long. Or some dripped off their hair and they didn't bother to clean it off. People need to defiantly read directions and time the process right

Re: Bad Hair Dye Reaction

Trouble is they do tell you on the instructions to ALWAYS do a patch test before using, so can't really blame the manufacturers. I myself use hair dye and never do patch tests. I just assume it'll be ok. These pics make me think I might have too from now on though.
You and me BOTH!!!!

Re: Bad Hair Dye Reaction

Keep some Prednisone on hand, just in case. I use one brand or my niece does my touch ups with a different brand and I did get a few pimples on my back the last time, but, nothing even close to this! I'm allergic to everything and this was my first reaction. Just do the patch test first to be sure and protect yourself! I didn't.

Re: Bad Hair Dye Reaction

I had an allergic reaction at a salon once, I felt burning on my scalp as soon as the dye was applied, and the salon quickly rinsed me off and refunded me the money. Still do foils in my hair these days though.
