Mother is attention seeker end of story this kind of thing has been documented around the world. Unfortunately for this kid India is full of ignorant superstitious people who are obsessed with burning gods, corpses and even living victims so it's doubtful that anyone is going to challenge her story and confront Hindu mythology just to protect a random baby.
