That doesn't mean there couldn't be other causes, though. Probablistically, it's MBP, but it's possible it could be environment. Like someone above posted, there was high level of phosphorus in the cow dung in their place. When I lived in China, my American appliances kept shorting out with the Chinese electricity and it caused several fires. But yeah, MBP is the most likely candidate. The thing most practitioners don't get, though, is that it is a diagnosis of exclusion. There are children with different kinds of diseases (not "spontaneous combustion"), who are thought to be victims, but are not.
