that is true, the world needs balance, but its still sad,I mean to see someone so innocent having to go through something as horrifying as that.

If I ever had a baby like that, I would freak out. And I would'nt want him/her to be kept alive. Not to be a bitch, but think about all the problems, the mental and physical. Make a kid go through life like that? Now that's just cruel, IMO.

I know it's awful to say it, but if I went to do an ultrasound and doctor said that there was something really wrong with the baby, something unfixable that would prevent my child from somewhat a livable life, I would go for an abortion. :(

Unfortunately, I'm not sure this particular one has to do with disrupting the balance of nature. You can't see the rest of this baby's body, but I would suspect that this is a case of limb / body wall complex, with missing limbs (notice you can only see one arm), disruption in the formation of the abdominal wall, and the facial defects (those lumps on the head are encephaloceles, and probably have part of the brain protruding into them). If you look this syndrome up there are some pretty horrific pictures.
