![]() It's not unheard of but to my knowledge a bit of pre-inspection would be a good idea. Wood arrows should never be fired from a compound bow. Even then failures can happen. I only had a broken arrow once because it was slightly bent. The bow was a recurve and not even a strong recurve at that. But the arrow was obviously bent and when I fired it the arrow just broke in half. I was not injured but realized what could of happened. In spite of accidents archery is one of the safest sports around. ![]() Well not for this kid but still it's safer than even football. Just never shoot a used arrow without checking for damage. |
