Gotcha. I appreciate the reply too. Sorry about coming across aggressive and snappy, it's an important issue for me. Also, I am an asshole and aware of it, so there's that too.

It's damn near impossible, to be honest. And most of us don't expect people to stop celebrating - I certainly don't. (I used to love fireworks, so it's sad they set me off). My neighbors are assholes anyway though, like...I have 0 tolerance for their bullshit after two years of it.

Pretty sure the gentleman in question was FUBAR, probably depressed and struggling already when the fireworks set him off while in "potentially hostile territory". Poor bastard. Never going to stop feeling sorry for his family, it's just awful.
