Re: Argyria
I have heard that the reason so much royalty/ upper class survived the plagues in Europe is because they ate and drank with real silver, and it may also be where the term blue bloods comes from. Supposedly, our ancestors noticed that people that used silver didn't get a sick as regular folk. Was also told that's where the term " born with a silver spoon in his mouth" came from. I think I've read that blue bloods and the silver spoon saying came from different sources, so it's all just hearsay to me. I do know that stainless steel and other alloys weren't available so the only noble metals were naturally occurring and expensive, noble meaning they didn't oxidize. It is a fact that silver is anti microbial Good post |

Re: Argyria
Thank you, Zambini I know nickel makes me itch. A seller on eBay was kind enough to explain to me that some people cut their gold, for lack of a better term, with other metals. It was with a pair of earrings that I noticed the issue, but, I am the 0.01% with any problems with anything |

Re: Argyria
I would think, it depends on how much and our own body's reaction. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=...509478EC3E8E47 |
