Re: Another One That Needs HEAVY Pedicure!
One of my friends went hiking with me(while complaining bitterly that I would harrass him to go) I took the long way back while telling him it was a shortcut. Then to make it really bad turns out that the area was flooded with sewage because of a pipe break in TiaJuana(It is at Border Field State Park just north of the Mexican border in San Ysidro)My friend insisted on walking through the sewage rather than turning back. I waited patiently for him at the edge of the new sewage swamp until he was forced to turn back when he got knee deep in the sludge. I was forced to loan him fresh socks pants and shoes after he had hosed off in the parking lot. But I discovered he had toenails about like this guy but he utterly refused to trim them before putting on my socks and shoes. Like a true "Bro" I grabbed the clippers and did it for him after dousing him with rubbing alcohol from the knees down. Can't believe I actually did that. About a month later he actually asked me for another pedicure because his toenails were cutting his socks up again and he finally realized how cool it is to have trimmed toenails. I reminded him they do have a service for this and told him to get lost.

Re: Another One That Needs HEAVY Pedicure!
As a travelling footcare specialist I experienced one case of this. The man was severely mentally unstable, had just lost his wife a couple of years previous, and actually I was completely astonished when he removed his socks as his home was immaculate and he was a very successful, well dressed man. People are strange creatures indeed. Needless to say, I suggested to him firmly that he see his family doctor and get a referral to a podiatrist immediately. Scary part was that he was also a diabetic! Ugh! |
