Tools aren't dangerous at all if you keep them maintained, are competent in their safe operation, and wear appropriate PPE. In this case, there's no guard on the grinder (masonry blade attached) and, judging by the location of the injury, he was probably working out of position, one handed. |

That disk is a tempered steel one. used for cutting through concrete and tiles. thats not going to come apart but he sure is lucky to survive that one.  |
