I bet most of the people in those pics still smoke. My neighbor died from cancer after 3 painful years with a smoke in his yellowed fingers. |

JUST QUIT around January 17th. HOW YOU ASK? H1N1 virus, followed by respiratory infection so severe the shit I coughed up was a lovely shade of brown/olive green with a few chunks of something red, still coughing. After it had been a week of no smoking while laying in bed dying, i decided eeh what the fuck, i'll just quit. Absolutely no cravings.

I quit smokeing 13 years ago and My lungs are screwed still by smokeing.. everytime I cough I still taste the smoke coming out of my lungs..

I dislike some of the things they put on cigarette packs. Not the pictures. Here's an example of something that I've seen often on my pack of smokes. "Smoking causes cancer" Now, you're probably thinking that there is nothing wrong with that. But my mind is pretty fucking stupid so I think of things in a wierd way. Would a government organization force a skydiving company to say "Skydiving causes death" or make big billboards that say "Visible minorities cause crime"? No they wouldn't. Because those are generalizations. I know plenty of people who were healthy and didn't died till they were 80 or 90. So, skydiving CAN cause death... visible minorities CAN cause crime... cigarettes CAN cause cancer. Yet it's okay to simply say that they do? I think that's silly. Not that it matters. |

used to smoke. Been clean for nearly 6 yrs now. Got a kid whos three. I gave up smoking when he was concieved. I gotta say people where i live smoke like banchies it smells far worse then when i did! Glad i don't now and never will again.
