Re: Is Abortion Murder?

I think there are circumstances that make abortion very excusable like in instances of rape, molestation, or if there's life threatening conditions involved. However abortion as a form of birth control should be punishable by sterilization.

Re: Is Abortion Murder?

I say no, because a fetus isn't aware of what's going on anyway. What I find so disturbing are kids who are dumped in a trashcan because the mother didn't want to take care of them. And I do hate those bitches out there who fuck around and then abort it if something happens, but I prefer that over a child who will be abused or just treated badly. ..And accidents can happen, then I don't think it's your own fault.

Re: Is Abortion Murder?

first, the number of people willing to adopt is miniscule compared to the number of unwanted pregnancies - and I notice that most people who cry out about adoption aren't doing it, nor are they trying to fix a system that makes it exceedingly difficult to adopt and super easy for scumbags to do foster care. Second, for teens, going to term is much more dangerous than it is for an adult, and has long term affects on the girl's health because she is still developing...third, I would rather see a POTENTIAL life ended before it's begun than to watch that life and that of the mother who's already had a large amount invested in her by society go down the toilet just to assuage the consciences of people who sure as hell aren't going to help that mom raise that kid she didn't want in the first place...

And before someone chimes in with that stupid 'she shouldn't have spread her legs' crap, try to remember that the human sex drive is the most powerful instinct in nature's arsenal - capable of over-riding our instinct for self preservation, let alone the much more cerebral concerns like promise rings or whether the guy is wearing a rubber...that's why my daughter is going on the pill the moment she starts to bleed...doesn't matter how well I raise her, all it takes is one moment of weakness or one unattended drink...

And speaking of the pill, I find it incredible that so many pro lifers are the ones trying to limit access to birth control and info on it as well...I don't care if the stupid bible says be fruitfull and multiply, we're already running about twenty times over what it needs to be to be sustainable - we don't need any more!

Okay, that's just my opinion, flame it all you want, you're not gonna change it.
That, my friend, is a good opinion. Besides, that last pic is photoshopped by the right-wing media. hehe.

Re: Is Abortion Murder?

as long as there is a good reason. many people say there there is no good reason for abortion but if the mother and/or baby is at risk during a pregnancy or rape/sexual abuse ( i wouldn't keep the baby of a rapist) then there is a reason. otherwise people are selfish to do it just because they don't want it.

sadly, most people don't think about the consequences before having sex. when me and my fiance have sex we know what could happen. and we try to keep ourselves prepared in case of a pregnancy. i don't want to abort unless medical issues come about.

Re: Is Abortion Murder?

agreed on many parts here and its the womans choice. If a woman is raped or a young girl been molested or if the woman feels its right to terminate because of illness or whatever then its ok. I dont like them that have countless abortions..girl where i live has had 3 which is disgusting plus shes 30 and should know better. She should be sterilised i she never wants kids. A lot of women feel though that its there only option and it should always remain there choice.

Re: Is Abortion Murder?

I think education is a big issue. First and foremost parents need to set an example for their children.I think even at a very young age children need to have good morals about sex taught to them. I think parents should really push abstinence starting at a very young age. I think if more parents talked to their kids about not having casual sex, maybe there would be a decline in unwanted pregnancies and STDs. Shit, when I was a kid my Mom always told me "you don't have sex until you're married" LMAO!!! I think it starts with upbringing, I really do. Using abortion as a form of birth control is completely unecessary, and IMO murder. All it takes is a little pill....yes...it's really that simple. Hell, you can get free birth control on every street corner. Our tax payer dollars provide it.
